JAXON MCKAY
WELCOME!
BIO
Jaxon McKay was born in Queen Creek, Arizona (where is that?). Growing up, his mom would drag him to his sister's dance competitions, where he would fall in love with performing. He begged his mom to put him in dance class, but after enrolling, he realized it wasn't for him. Instead, Mom signed him up for Bye Bye Birdie at the local community theater and He never looked back.
Jaxon spent his youth performing lead roles all around the Arizona valley in shows such as, Bright star, Freaky Friday, Heathers, Newsies, and more. In high school, he travled to Californa to compete at the Musical Theater Compeitions of America, where He was selected to be in the cattle call production number all four years. Jaxon also auditioned and was selected to participate in the Arizona All-State Show Choir two years in a row.
When it came time to decided where to further his education, regular four year universities did not attract his attention, even though, all of his teachers and guidence counselors tried to push him that way. He discovered and now attends The Institute for American Musical Theatre (Class of 25'!). He could not be more grateful for betting on himself and moving straight to New York City right out of highschool.
Outside of performing, you could find Jaxon digging through different thrift stores, looking for old clothing. One day, he wants to open up a thrift store.
Nice to meet you!
